A little bit about me

I believe art has the power to slow us down, to help us notice the beauty woven into our everyday lives. My work is inspired by the Pacific Northwest landscapes, architecture, and the quiet poetry of nature.

Whether I’m sketching in pencil, painting in watercolor, or layering bold acrylics, I strive to capture both the detail and the spirit of a moment—what it feels like, not just what it looks like. Preserving nature in my small way brings me joy. I support conservation efforts for future generations by being mindful of the materials I use and avoid harsh chemicals.

With over three decades as a professional artist and designer, I have a lifelong passion for fine art. As a former structural building designer, I bring both precision and play into my process. My style moves between representational and abstract, where light, texture, and color all have their own voice.

Each piece I create is a reflection of the places I’ve wandered, the stories I’ve gathered, and the joy of translating them into something lasting. My hope is that my art sparks a connection—whether it reminds you of a favorite place, inspires you to pause, or simply brings more beauty into your space.

Welcome to my studio—I’m so glad you’re here!
