Summary: An unseen menace lurking off the coast of a beautiful seaside port threatens a friendship between a newcomer and a lonely tabby cat.
Author's Note:
"On March 11, 2011, the seaside ports of Brookings Harbor, Oregon, and Crescent City, California, were devastated by a tidal surge that stormed across the ocean in the aftermath of a catastrophic earthquake on the other side of the Pacific. While all eyes were riveted on the horrific images televised from Japan, little press was given to our own harbors that were affected by the same event. This book is dedicated to the resilient men and women of our coastal towns whose ocean ports and livlihoods were severely disrupted by the 2011 tsunamis."
